Shropshire Damson Macaron – Great Taste Award
Shropshire Damson Macaron Great Taste Award Our Shropshire Damson Macaron has copped the Star! We are so proud to have been awarded a Great Taste Star in 2025, and to win our first Star with this flavour is even more special. The damsons grow in my garden, and the tree has been part of our family for all of my life, so to be able to bring this flavour into the realms of a nationally recognised award is amazing. This macaron features a beautiful purple and white swirl design, encasing a damson and white chocolate ganache with a damson jam centre. The fluffy fruited ganache is very unique, providing a rounded rich and tart creaminess, with a jam centre, really punching home the iconic Damson flavour. This is now the second award our Shropshire Damson Macaron has picked up, winning Bronze in the best new product award at Ludlow Food Festival –…
Shropshire Macarons feature on James Martin’s Saturday Morning
As seen on tv … Shropshire Macarons on james martin’s saturday morning Yep, in S6 E3 of James Martin’s Saturday Morning, James will be making a delicious looking gateau which is adorned by OUR MACARONS!! James also has a conversation with us via zoom about why the business was started and a bit about my background. It was a very surreal experience, but it was fantastic to be part of. We applied to be part of the show after a few tags on social media from friends. Following our application, the show’s producer then reached out and said they were really keen to get us on (including James himself!) We joined via zoom and decorated the kitchen with some easy access Christmas decorations – didn’t fancy routing through the loft for Christmas stuff in early November… Not only was I in shock at James Martin talking to me on my phone…
