Shropshire Damson Macaron Great Taste Award Our Shropshire Damson Macaron has copped the Star! We are so proud to have been awarded a Great Taste Star in 2025, and to win our first Star with this flavour is even more special. The damsons grow in my garden, and the tree has been part of our family for all of my life, so to be able to bring this flavour into the realms of a nationally recognised award is amazing. This macaron features a beautiful purple and white swirl design, encasing a damson and white chocolate ganache with a damson jam centre. The fluffy fruited ganache is very unique, providing a rounded rich and tart creaminess, with a jam centre, really punching home the iconic Damson flavour.
