Nanny Janny’s Jersey Ice Cream is made by Nanny Janny herself, using milk and cream from our small herd of Jersey cows in Shropshire.

We have a very small herd of beautiful Jersey cows and I use their milk and cream (don’t worry, their calves have plenty for their needs). 25 head of cattle at present ranging from born on Saturday to 10 years old.

Some of the cow families have been part of the herd for over 40 years. I make small batches of ice cream on the farm from the best ingredients and without artificial colouring or artificial sugars.

My recipes are my own, simple, seasonal and made to taste (to take into account different varieties of fruit).
